The first femme fatale led the first man, Adam, to disobedience. Having trusted the serpent more than God, they both tasted the apple from the forbidden tree of knowledge in Paradise and so became mortal. The biblical texts say nothing specific about Eve’s appearance, so her likeness and aesthetic appeal change just as the fashions of each era do. Kuzica’s Eve stresses this too, yet she radiates uniqueness and exceptionality alongside the fear of how to resist her own temptation — the imagined nature of every woman after her.
Genesis 1–4
