Milan Kuzica is close to me for many reasons. Above all, we share the same ideal of female beauty. I too like women who are not just slim — thin. The word is not pretty, but it best describes the women of whom each of us has one at home. In Kuzica's work such women appear above all in his sculptures. Eroticism is Milan Kuzica's driving force. Mine too. In my house, by a large window onto the garden, stands a snow-white Celtic woman that Milan Kuzica lent me with the comment: she is here to be re-educated. I confess I stroke her now and then.
I like that Milan Kuzica has a little boy, although he is certainly of an adult age. Milan Kuzica's studio, set up in a former funeral hall, is full of joy.
The sculptor and I found common ground while preparing the equestrian group of St Martin sharing his cloak with a naked beggar. I believe the peak of our shared vision will be the unveiling of this statue at Prague's Vyšehrad.
