Not far off Baldov Hill, the Hussites and Crusaders faced each other in the name of one God, shedding blood. But historical records seldom reckon with human beings. The purpose of war is understood through its victors, leaders and their power or – conversely – failures. We hardly ever read a letter about the dead and wounded, the stories of their families and bereaved… This sculpture was created for the Tusta Sculpta symposium in Domažlice.
